Explain how each of the following New Covenant provisions can contribute to the relief of the holy tension in our souls: New Purity, New Identity. New Inclination, and New Power.

The provision of a new purity makes sin less attractive. Imagining God singing over me with delight and knowing that he has already accepted me before I do anything motivates me to love him in return.
The provision of a new identity lets me rest in who God says I am even though I’m not perfect yet. God sees me as his child, his treasure.
The provision of a new inclination gives me new desires through the Holy Spirit in me.
The Holy Spirit’s presence in me gives me the power to carry out those desires. -
Usually after trying everything and everyone else and finding no relief from our suffering and holy tension, we try JESUS! When we accept His thorough work of the cross, the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of our sins, the healing of our sicknesses and diseases, and our freedom from bondage of every sort, we are completely NEW creatures with a NEW Purity that cannot be lost, a NEW Identity as a Child of God-a Christian first, a NEW Inclination of desires and indulgence in Spiritual Growth, and empowered by God’s Holy Spirit to trust and obey His leading! We immediately begin our journey (life long) with our Lord and Savior and experience the relief of our suffering and holy tension as we grow.

New purity in Christ I am free! I am a Christian first, and a sinner second…
New identity in Christ I am His! I no longer serve my own agenda, but His!
New inclination He gives me godly motivation to obey and serve Him.
New power He shares His Spirit with me, to help me live well. -
New purity means that a person is forgiven and accepted. New identity shows a Christian that they are a chosen, child of God. New inclination reveals a new heart, a new appetite for God and one’s deep desires. New power is where one person can touch another through the power of Christ’s blood. Each of these provisions assist in spiritual maturity which relieves or changes the focus of tension. Turns the focus towards God.
