She is showcasing the importance of the Bible, as well as the priority of having a physical copy. There is power in the Word of God and being able to pull it out and show a student where truth is found is profoundly impactful.

I believe Dr Black Dr. Black is illustrating that instruction, planning, etc should begin and end with the Bible. It should be the center of our education.

She is illustrating that EVERYTHING we do and teach has to be integrated with Biblical truth.

It was a visual representation of how we need to diligent in making sure that the Bible is not only the foundation of all that we do, but it surrounds and permeates every part of our curriculum standards, materials, goals, and assessments. It is the lens in which we view and teach about our world.

She is illustrating that Scripture should surround, and I would also say flow through, everything we teach and the instructional resources we use. We should use it as a starting point, to Biblically support lessons and resources, and to conclude lessons.
