She is reminding us that we should be surrounded by God’s Word. It is both the foundation and that which rules over.

God’s Word should be the foundation as well as the “topping off” of whatever I teach. The truths of God should encompass the knowledge of the world so that no matter where one turns, God’s truths are there.

She is illustrating that the Bible should not only be where we start in Biblical integration, but also where we end.

The Bible is the foundation of truth. Therefore, the rest of what we teach stems from biblical integrated teaching.

I felt like Dr. Black’s visual demonstrated that all of life needs to be built up the foundation of God’s word.
