Great illustration. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Our curriculum must be sandwiched between the foundation of God’s word. Our textbook and other learning tools must be in addition to never in place of God’s word.

Dr. Ellen Black set two Bibles on her desk and used the illustration of all curriculum, scope and sequence, and even assessments set between the two Bibles. This was a demonstration of how everything we teach needs to begin and end in God’s word.

All that we teach should begin and end with the foundation laid for us in the Bible.
