Discipleship is important because of the lasting influence on the new believer. We are commanded to help them learn and live the eternal truths. They in turn, will help the ones that they disciple. It has always been hard for new believers to expand their faith and put their new beliefs into their everyday living – it may be even harder today in some instances.

As disciples of Christ, we are called to proclaim the Truth. Discipleship is important because it is not only obedience, it is vital for the ultimate completion of the great commission – when the “knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth like the waters cover the sea.”

A significant aspect of Christian discipleship is the call to make disciples of others. The Great Commission given by Jesus instructs believers to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Discipleship, therefore, involves a cycle of learning, growing, and passing on what has been learned to others. This multiplication of disciples ensures the spread of the Christian faith and the continuation of the discipleship process across generations.

04012023 ‘DISCIPLESHIP’ to my way of thinking is showing another person; that in the LONG-Run –GOD’s Way of enriching us is better for Us than what the SECULAR world selfishly often attempts to ‘Push down Our Throats.’ It is a way of Manifesting to one NOT overly familiar with ANY form of Theology the “Golden Rule” ( Do Unto Others as You would have them do to you); as well as one whom (Hopefully) with Wisdom can bring forth to One NOT of a Spiritual background how cultures, organizations have purportedly changed for the Better; when compared to How the People of the Old testament lived before the Historical Christ came on the scene. Discipleship is important in showing, encouraging and developing new believers in to mature Christians who then can do the same for other young believers.
