Processing activities in my own word contribute to the cohesive curriculum by What you have introduced how you have integrated God’s word into it come back to it relook it over build on top of that foundation that you set up.I feel that is very important to have a cohesive curriculum if we do not take the time to plan it out where we are going to insert God’s word in our activities.

I think a good way to allow students to process what they learned with respect to integrating a biblical worldview would be to have them think about how they would communicate what they learned to someone who does not have a biblical worldview. We don’t want students to think that having a biblical worldview means they have to be in constant combat with others. Instead, they want to be in dialogue with others.

Processing activities help students mull over the big questions and synthesize ideas that have come up again and again in the course. For instance, literary texts often raise questions about whether a character is evil or insane. Within individual units, we work through our thoughts about what the author is trying to say and how that holds up to scripture. Later in the year, we compare ideas from one text to another, again comparing those ideas to scriptural truth. It’s important for students to see that non-Christian authors wrestle with the same essential questions that are addressed in scripture and to consider the source for answering those questions.

Processing activities are any activity that allows the students to stop and reflect on what they have learned and how can this apply to their walk with Christ.

Processing Activities allow students to be sure they understand fully the concept you are teaching.
