Students need time to process everything that is taught. Teachers need to review concepts often, and help students to see how all of the concepts fit together in the big picture, like pieces of a puzzle. Christian teachers integrate Biblical truths into the curriculum.

It is so important for students to have an opportunity to process what they know and express knowledge.

Processing activities allow the student to think about big concepts over periods of time. These activities inspire a student to process (think about deeper, bigger concepts).

Processing activities help the students relate the content from the Bible lessons with real life as they go back and reflect on what they have learned months ago, the same way they learn from the mistakes they made in the past. In this way, they can change the perception of the idea of a certain Bible passage and restore what they have learned.

Processing activities are a teaching strategy that helps students understand and retain concepts that they are learning. This strategy helps students recall learning and process information that they have gained.
