More and more of the scientific discoveries are confirming what the Bible says about creation and human history. We need to be aware of and study the questions that arise. We need to help our students be prepared for the controversial issues that they will likely face helping them know the biblical worldview for this issues.

From mountains to the stars to the sea to ice cream to humanity, everything was made by Christ and for Christ (Col 1:16). Therefore, Christians should embrace science as a scavenger hunt for God’s glory. They should view the complexity and uniformity of nature in light of Christ who is the Creator and Redeemer of the universe (Col 1:19-20).

Instead of fearing science, we get to encounter nature with the curiosity of children who want to better understand their Father’s ideas and ways. We know that it’s not neutral but “good”. The information we learn can lead to doing good and loving others as part of God’s plan- inventing medicines, solutions in agriculture, and so on.
