It allows us to find the evidence of the past and what we learn throughout Scripture on man and God’s creatures and creation.

Science does not contradict faith in God, but rather supports it and reveals His glory. Science can help us solve problems, improve lives, and advance God’s kingdom. Science can also help us share the gospel with others, by showing them the evidence of God’s existence and love. Science can also challenge us to grow in our faith, by testing our assumptions and inviting us to seek God’s wisdom.

He went on to create light and darkness (spectroscopy, scotobiology, photobiology), water (hydrology, oceanography), seed bearing vegetation (botany), animals (zoology), man (anthropology). You just cannot separate the two, especially when one solely exists because of the other.
