Because more than argue against the truth of the Scriptures, science explains God’s creation. It is through the study of science that we can comprehend even more the wonder of the all powerful and mighty God we serve. We should never be afraid of where it might lead us because it can only intensify the knowledge we already have and allows us to comprehend even more how God created us and His perfect plan to make everything work for His glory and to accomplish His purposes.

Christians should embrace science because it is a way to discover more about the wonders of God’s creation. Science will also confirm what Scripture says, we do not have to be afraid of what science says. In fact, Frank Turek, co-author of I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist often says, science doesn’t say anything, scientists do. Secular scientists start with an assumption, the assumption that the Biblical worldview is not the correct worldview. This leads them to vastly different conclusion when interpreting the data. They are unable to entertain the thought of a creator God.

Science was created by God. Every discovery that is made, that is true, not just theory, is so because God created it that way. Gods science is truth. mans science, when it is true, is simply a look into how God created the universe.

Christians should embrace science because it is our attempt to clarify our understanding of applying the reality of creation to what we see and experience in the physical world around us. However, we must not get hung up on being able to have answers for everything in this world that God created. He will give us insight and understanding as He so chooses. One day all of our questions will be answered, but the fact that we can only answer some of them right now should not cause us to pull away from presenting Science to our students. One of the greatest things we can demonstrate to our students through examining science from a Christian perspective is that it’s okay to have unanswered questions. God does not give us an understanding of everything He has created. He calls us to trust Him and enjoy marveling at HIs awesome wonder.

God commanded us to cultivate His creation and to be good stewards of His creation. Science is the study of this creation. We should be interested in and embrace science because we can learn about what God has created. This knowledge will help us better take care of what He has created. We can use what we learn in science to glorify and bring Honor to God. All truth comes from God and if we study this world, we will uncover some of that truth. Romans 1:20 says that since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities his power and divine nature have been clearly seen from what has been made so that every man is without excuse. We can know more about God by studying and understanding the very aspects of His creation. That is why science is so important.
