Explain, in your own words, why and how Christians should embrace science.

Christians should embrace science, because science is man’s explanation of God’s ways. We need to teach our kids to think critically of the information that is presented to them in science (really in ALL areas!) so that they can see what aligns with God’s truth. They also need to be ‘be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you” as the Bible says.

Science in and of itself is not bad. It is when we remove God from science that it becomes bad. We need to equip kids with Truth, so they are prepared when they face some false teachings that are out there in the real world. We need to show them how to look for red flags, and we need to teach them the right questions to ask and where to go for true answers.

No reason to fear science as it is mans attempt to know creation and how it works. The Christian should be careful as to not exclude God from the study of creation, and note that ‘theories’ are just that, theories (an educated guess).

Science is man’s attempt to understand the universe God has created and the laws that hold it together. God created us to be rational creatures, and the study of His creation honors Him.

Christians should embrace science as a means to prove the existence of God the creator. Science points to the complexity of life and the amazing wonders He has set in place. Science does not disprove Christianity, rather it proves it.
