So it is good to teach students about science, but also from the viewpoint of just how amazing things of this world are, can you imagine there is no God? And also if we help bring God into the picture in all subjects, students will hopefully have a biblical view from Christian educators before they go learn about it from a secular viewpoint later in universities or elsewhere.

I think that it is important to reference students to the intelligent design that God created EVERYTHING and for a very specific purpose. It’s important to have biblical knowledge when discussing topics within science.

In fact, she teaches secondary mathematics to the dismay of many deans and professors. Science and math are greatly intertwined. When the leader of her church tried to explain from the pulpit that a worm was the exact same thing as a snake, he lost all credibility in her eyes as a competent Christian Leader. I know that seems a remarkably ridiculous thing to turn someone away from a person’s preaching, but to her, a minister who could preach scientific facts through a Biblical Worldview was incredibly important. Our students have more information than they could ever assimilate. When we are not armed with Biblical facts and know where and how they intersect with Scientific facts we are setting them up for failure. We also have to be able to help them to discern where the world is and how the world leads people astray from the truth. I remember when my son was in Earth Science at a public school. He came in one day and told me he failed a chapter. I was all puffed up ready to explain to him why that shouldn’t happen. He then told me the chapter was over evolution. I lost the wind in my sail so to speak. I just let him be and we discussed how the world came to that conclusion.

God created man to take care of the earth so science had the be a part of it so that man could understand how things work together. I believe things work together because God had it that way. Science has its place but it is not with God.
