Explain why each of the “Six Principles of Relationship” is important.

The six principles of relationship of relationship allow for all people of different religions to come together and better understand one another without there being any need for hatred or resentment over those who don’t share the same religion as well as allow for the opportunity to come together and join the same religion or better grasp one’s own beliefs.

Each step is important in that if we leave out just one we can seem to be condescending, we can look like we know what is best for everyone and we can look like we are condemning them for disagreeing with us. If we leave out just one step we can come across as being ungenuine and unloving.

We should apply those principles to everyone anyway, Christian or not

because we are suppose to love each other as Jesus told us to do. We cant just judge that is not our job, we should all try to get along.

Practice each of the 6 principles allows you to recognize the humanity in all religions. We are all humans who have differing beliefs and reminding yourself to be genuine, respectful, humble, fair, discerning, and discreet allows space for trust to grow among contrasting religions
