Explain why each of the “Six Principles of Relationship” is important.

- If we are going to be able to join in relationship with anyone, these 6 Principles of Relationship needs to be our focus because anything short is not real. Being genuine, respectful, humble, fair, discerning, and discreet. This will form the basis in us to create an atmosphere of respect for people as they interact with the Spirit of God who is calling all people to Himself. As a Christian, I cannot win anyone over to CHrist. However, the Holy Spirit can and has moved in ways I could never understand to draw myself and others to Him. I am going to use these principles so that God can freely work through me.

The Six Principles of a Relationship are: respectful, discreet, fair, humble, genuine, and discerning and these principles are related to Matthew 22:39. Jesus taught that individuals should love their neighbor as they love themselves. These principles tie into what Jesus taught.

The six principles are important, because without them, we cannot peacefully live in a multi religious world. We can look around the world right now and see where these principles are used and people groups live in harmony and we can see where there are places they are not, where war is the way of life. I believe these principles to be true and that if more people did also the world would be more peaceful.

Applying the six principles helps our show of love which is core to the Christian faith but also helps us in understanding others especially where we differ in our search for the truth. This will help us appreciate what we have believed
