These principles call to mind the Biblical Golden Rule, “Golden Rule, precept in the Gospel of Matthew (7:12): “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. . . .” This rule of conduct is a summary of the Christian’s duty to his neighbor and states a fundamental ethical principle. In its negative form, “Do not do to others what you would not like done to yourselves,” ”
That is our call even as we walk in wisdom towards them that outside the faith. Col 4:5-6 -
Because we are to treat others in a manner exemplified by God, who treats all people with perfect love and justice.
