Each author had a different relationship with Jesus, a different role in society, and were writing for a different audience therefore the information they included, the way they included it, and their backgroup knowledge and experiences all worked together to create a different account of the same or sometimes different events of Jesus’ life.

Considering the breadth and scope of what occurred in Christ’s life, we are very fortunate that the Gospels that come down to us today as a result of the careful protection of those who came befor us are so focused and well balanced.
In comparison, If you read the ‘journalism’ of today on social networking, something as simple as a pronouncement from a media star can generate forests worth of accounts of what was said, what it all meant, who liked it, who didn’t like it, tomes of misinterpretations and starry eyed, mystical confabulations. -
The authors at times differs from each other due to the fact that they have to take into account the audiences to whom they each relate and also each writer had a different purpose so as to relate their gospel to their understanding.

Each writer had a different heritage, background, perspective and purpose for writing their account of Jesus and His life. They were writing to different audiences so pointed out views that would be of interest to those audiences.
