They did not consult one another to make 1 gospel. God used exactly who, what, when, and where the authors were to provide future generations with accounts of Jesus from different walks of life.

The books address different situations and problems and were written for different purposes. They are not contradictory although they may give us different viewpoints of the same situation sometimes. As we weld these accounts together we a more complete picture under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
