The authors had different audiences, perspectives, and purposes
-
Due to who they were, who they wrote to and the message they brought
-
They each wrote from a different perspective and for a different audience.
-
They are different because each writer focused on a particular emphasis on Jesus ministry – they write from their own perspective on how they encountered Jesus. They also wrote with different audiences Jews, Gentiles, Romans and general audience.
-
The different author offer differing accounts for the following reasons: They had different perspectives. They were writing to different audiences. They had different backgrounds. Through the Holy Spirit they were showing a different lense into the life and deity of Christ.
