The authors at times differ from each other in their accounts because they wrote from different perspectives and for different audiences.

Since each of the four gospels is written by different authors, it is to be expected that the narrative would differ at times. Each writer brings the story to life from their own perspective. We get to see the events unfold through their eyes based upon their own experiences and occupations. Also, each of the gospels was written to appeal to a different target audience and thus was tailored to appeal more specifically to them. Yet even with these minor differences, the overall account of the life of Jesus as told in the gospels is essentially the same.

I think it’s fair to say, we all view a scene or story differently- Different vantage point. If 4 people witnessed a car wreck, they would all describe their vantage view differently. Same story. Same characters. Same events in general, just a different view point. Also, being the Living Word, I think different authors speak to different people and see todays application to their life

Each individual experiences the same events differently. Thus, they have different accounts of the same events.

Because they came from different prespectives with different focus but still keeping to Jesus as the Son of God and our savior as the theme
