We are Gods ambassadors to his word and responsible to each other for spreading the “good news.” Embracing apologetics and continually studying and researching makes us better communicators of Gods word

Christ should be in our hearts which will or should show through our daily lives. This will draw people to ask where your hope comes from. This will also keep people from speaking poorly of you.

Peter was writing to Christians who were being severly persecuted. He encourages them to “revere Christ as Lord” – have the right orientation with the Lord, to stay focused on Him. Then, Peter tells them to “always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope you have.” This means that that they were to have answers for people’s questions. These verses apply to us, as well. If we are not in right relationship with Christ, we will not be able to share Him in a way that sets an example for others. Rather, our sin and hypocrisy will turn others away. We also need to have answers for people. We have a hope that unbelievers do not have, and it is our job to share our Hope! In order to do that, we need to have answers, and if we do not know the answer, we need to find it. The Lord does not take us home as soon as we are saved. Instead, He leaves us to reach out to others and complete the Great Commission.

Because if Christ is the center of our lives, living by him and for him, first. We are called to spread the Gospel to all nations. That means I will tell the people about him.

I am also called to be humble and respectful so my life needs to give testimony of what I will say to a person. For example, I will be with a person during hard times and good times showing the love God has for me, and I will show what God has been doing in my life. As a science teacher I will teach my students about the wonderful and amazing creation.

As 1 Peter 3:15-16 states our own heart has to be faithful and serve God (and know what our faith means and how it’s articulated in the Bible) and then we will be willing and able gently and humbly lead others to his hope as well. We are charged with spreading the whole Bible to the world and sharing the hope of Christ with others. This is done through teaching and supporting with that purpose.
