“It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For the Lord commanded the blessing there—life forever.” (Psalms 133:3)

God’s blessing of life (now) and forever (eternal) is likened to the morning dew coming from Mount Herman to the valleys below.

Judges 5:4-6 (Part of the song of Deborah)
O Lord, when you went out from Seir,
When you march from the land of Edom,
The earth shook, the heavens poured,
    the clouds poured down water.
The mountain quaked before the Lord, the One of Sinai, before the Lord, the God of Israel….

If we do not know where the battle environment of Barak and Deborah was facing the chariots of Sisera, it would be hard to understand the story…
Why Seir, land of Edom and the One of Sinai are mentioned here? How do they explain the God of Israel?

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon” (psalm 92:12). Thus, the inspired author compares the life of a believer to two types of trees.
