The only thing that we can base our hope on is the work of the Holy Spirit through the power of the gospel.

It is based on dependency and reliance on the Holy Spirit

This allows Christ to give me strength and be the provider of what we need. It feels rough to be humbled like that, but it only grows our faith and trust in Christ. Knowing that Jesus is better than we are at caring for our needs and eager to do so reflects how much He loves us.
