In hindsight I have seen where it has become a crisis but I did not see it when it was going on. It gives me a broader view

Yes, it is a grief and loss concern. For me losing an ear ring, a girl losing a doll or a king losing his crown. Loss is loss.

Working in the criminal justice system, women’s prison on the psychiatric floor, there were always some type of crisis related psychological distress and suicidal ideations, attempts and successful death by suicide.

I had not considered this as a crisis but I recently lost a credit card and understand the stresses that involved with that. I need to be more mindful that something that may seem simple to me could be effect someone with severity and needs to be handled with care.

Yes, I have previously considered that something like losing a wallet ( or for that matter with women-their purses) could present a crisis to someone’s life. This to me could be a Great Problem because we typically have so much ‘plastic’ in it ; that has all kinds of information to it; that It being compromised; could lead to Identity theft at worse; and at least the ability to navigate through our life course for awhile ( No Drivers License proof, No Privilege to Drive; No Bus-Pass; No ability to use Mass Transit without difficulty;etc. This lesson affects how I view Crisis in that It doesn’t have to be a Catastrophic loss ( like a Death, or Job loss; or Shelter Place displacement) in order to be regarded minimally by ‘Simple’ Man as a Life ‘Crisis’.
