We have a great book of hymns and poetry written during Old Testament times to show the hurt and the hope we find inn God. We have this great volume written so we can see God in the many ways fro the thoughts of the different writers to show us the heart of the writer to God.
With a time of reading and study, we can understand a good bit of the phrases and emotions for God’s ideal for a fulfilled and purpose-filled life.

I don’t remember all being said in the first lecture, only looking forward to read with imagination what was written with imagination.

I am interested in focusing on the lecturer’s comment that when we read the Psalms with imagination, paying attention to its phrasing and emotional impact that we can see God’s ideal for a fulfilled purposeful life.
