When my father died my whole world seem like it stood still. I felt isolated and alone. Even though I had a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, the pain felt heavy and unbearable. It caused me to pray more, and since I felt alone, I drew closer to the Lord. He gave me peace and calmed my heart letting me know that everything was going to be alright. And because both my father and I believed in Jesus, we will see each other again, according to His word.

For me acceptance and hope takes while I think for me experiencing the lost of my mother i was numb it Maybe part denial eventhough she had passed, I fill I also experience complex grief because I dont take the time to reach out and talk to others, I tend to lock up my emotions. I do agree that loss brings you closer to God

I have not been stuck in any of the stages, but each stage is understood.

I have been stuck in the anger stage of grief. It was helpful for me to go through out patient behavioral therapy and grief counseling afterwards.

I, personally, have not, to my knowledge, experienced being stuck in grief after death, however, I have experienced the different stages of grief. I have and currently work with supporting others in their grief. Some are stuck many years after the loss and I pray that if/when I ever experience being stuck in grief after the death of a loved one, I will take to heart all that I have gained in understanding through this course.
