Have you ever doubted the historical accuracy or truthfulness of the Bible? Why or why not?

I hate to admit it but I had before question the historical evidence of the Bible. The reason for that is that I didn’t know about archaeological finds I didn’t know about Scrolls that were found and I questioned it because of the stories that are in the Bible and the people. Bonanza study later on in my life and and seen the digs in the archaeological finds and heard of the Scrolls I’m beginning to realize that this thing’s true. Now I know without a shadow of a doubt that the Bible is real and every word in it is real.

Growing up in a Christian home, I have never doubted the historical accuracy or truthfulness of the Bible. II Timothy 2:15 says to “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth”. My studies and my faith allows me to believe that these writers were inspired by God. God speaks to me, why wouldn’t I believe that He spoke to them as well?

I think we all have doubted the Bible in some form or fashion or accept some truths that support our own agendas, and the other we try to justify. I believe this because we haven’t grown to get to know Him in scripture, assembly and favor.

Yes, because, at the time, I didn’t know my bible as well as I do now. After reading it and studying it, I can see the scarlet thread weaved throughout it, showing Jesus. Also, the Dead Sea scrolls have proven the bible’s accuracy.

Never. Even though some have said it isn’t reliable, science and archaologists continue to find evidence of things to prove the accuracy an infallibility of God’s word.
