Yes and its not a good feeling, I’m learning that being consistent in prayer helps and trusting in God to see me through the prayers helps.

Feeling that my prayers somehow didn’t measure up is why I am taking this course.
I am delighted to know that God bends down to listen to me when I pray. I can be real and truthful when I approach Him.
The strength and help He gives through prayer gives me hope. -
Short answer, yes. It’s usually when I try to fashion my prayers like someone else’s prayers. But, when I stop and ask the Lord to help me just be honest and humble, then the words just start pouring out.

I feel my prayers never measure the majority of the time. That’s when I pray a prayer to strengthen my faith.

All the time! And much to my shame, I have to say it’s due to laziness on my part. It’s easy to say (recite) the same prayer every day, instead of really letting my heart speak what it needs to say.
