This person had been there for a couple of years and asked me to pray for her because her ear was hurting . I said my His strips you are healed and her response was is that all. Yes

Deleted User08/05/2022 at 21:20There have been times when I felt that my prayers did not measure up to others, and also that my prayers were not heard by God. I must confess that when I possess the need to compare myself with others, I never measure up. Insecurity and often envy veil the truth of who and whose I am in God’s eyes. And, it stands to reason that it’s in those same moments that I also misunderstand the silence, thinking my words go into a black hole rather than to the heart of my Father. That’s why praying in faith is so important, as well as understanding that prayer is simply evidence of the relationship I have with to my Father. I would no more believe that my earthly father did not love me simply because he did not immediately respond to my call or text , so I should not permit myself to believe the lies that God does not hear nor care about what concerns me. The truth is quite the opposite! God’s loving, generous, and relational character, revealed throughout scripture, show that He longs for me to confide in Him, and that He does not care how I sound. He only desires that I come.
