Have you ever felt like your prayers somehow didn’t measure up?

I used to feel this way alot after listening to others pray. Then I heard a pastor assuring people that it isn’t about length and eloquence, it’s about being honest and true with God when we pray, praise and fellowship with Him. That can look like 2 hours or 2 minutes.

In all honesty, I have never felt like my prayers do not “measure up.” I’ve lived a life where I’ve desperately needed Him at every turn, and I’ve just trusted that even when the delivery isn’t perfect, He knows my heart.

Yes, most of the time.

Sometimes I fumble over my words, but that does not matter. The Holy Spirit guides me to the content of my prayers and it just feels right when I pray. It feels like I am with God.
