Deleted User01/22/2023 at 17:05Yes, I have had discussions about creation and evolution in my classroom before and it was an eye-opener for many of my students. However, a few students were still confused about what they were taught about evolution by their parents or others, so we had follow-up discussions in which they came to an understanding that the big bang could not have just happened out of anywhere but it would have to come from someone or from somewhere. The fortunate thing about having these discussions is that students do believe that God created the heavens and the earth but they were going after what they were told.

Deleted User01/02/2023 at 18:02In my Kindergarten course I read about the creation and we discussed how God created everything including them. They were very excited and were able to share what they already knew. They all believed in God.

Deleted User12/18/2022 at 13:27I teach second grade, and we learn about creation in the first part of our Bible curriculum. The kids love to learn about how God made the world. There is always one student who will bring up dinosaurs. It is a hard one for me. If any input would be greatly appreciated.

Deleted User11/10/2022 at 02:46No, I haven’t yet as I am still a tutor. When I have these discussions I would by God’s grace refer back to the creation in the bible and also explain the concept of evolution and how we are created in the image and likeness of God and not otherwise.
