Deleted User11/10/2021 at 04:14No, never. It would definitely depend on the age of the students I would need to be able to explain things in words they understand. I assume this would be more difficult when discussing about the topic with older students. It is a topic I’m interested in and I would need to spend more time to understand this so I would be prepared when questions do arise.

Deleted User09/30/2021 at 10:11Yes, the students were engaged in the discussion and asked many questions (why should we believe what we cannot see). We read Genesis and discussed how God created the world (they wanted something tangible which is just based on faith and God’s promises.

Deleted User09/04/2021 at 00:52In middle school our biblical standard is to help students engage in analyzing various theories of creation and the origins of life. We want to prepare our students to be in the world, but not of the world. We discuss three theories that are accepted by Christians. We don’t align with any of the three, but invite students to consider these options while talking with their parents about them.
