When I was a child, my grandmother rewarded me for every Scripture passage I memorized. Over 40 years later, I can easily recall them and it has given me great comfort in my trials, and wisdom in making decisions. I know that regular repetition is necessary to memorize. It takes time and sacrifice to commit to this spiritual investment.

Yes, I have memorized Scripture and am so thankful for the hiding of God’s Word in my heart. I can recall spiritual truths when I am in a situation and my Bible is not nearby which allows me to continue having that peace that can only come from God’s Word.

I memorized a lot of Scripture growing up in a Christian school, and that memorization has been a foundation for my spiritual growth and development.

Yes, I have memorized scripture. I find that memorizing scripture gives comfort and strength in times of duress. It is a way that we can be reminded of His Word wherever we go. It can help keep us away from sin. It roots us deeply so we can grow and flourish.

Yes. One that stands out is Ephesians 5:19. It encourages me to always speak with Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
