Yes. I can recall scriptures or scriptures come to mind when I need wisdom or comfort.

Yes I have. There have been many times either in conversation or in a moment of struggle the verses have come to mind and have helped re-center me on God and his will.

It is an ongoing mission of mine to memorize as much Scripture as possible. It’s amazing how when you need it, God will put one of these verses on your heart just when you need it! It’s also an invaluable tool to be able to quote God’s word when needed in discussions with others and in prayer.

Yes I have memorized Scripture. This has been invaluable to me. It has strengthened me when I need to be strengthened, and it has encouraged me when I need to be encouraged. It has also comforted me when I was sitting in a hospital when my son was attacked by our family dog. I didn’t think to grab a Bible as I flew out the door to the emergency room, so I had to rely on scriptures I had already memorized. God know just what verses I need to cling to while my son was in surgery.

Yes. The ability to recall to mind the scriptures in a time of crisis, or when counseling someone cannot happen had the discipline to memorize God’s Word was neglected.
