Most of the Scripture I have memorized is from my late elementary and teen years.I remember those NIV verses well.

I have memorized Bible verses, and some like John 3:16 or Psalm 23 often come to mind, particularly if I am struggling with my circumstances. I could do well to revisit these words and make sure to imbed them in my daily thought processes.

I have memorized many scriptures. God brings these to mind as answers when I ask Him questions, or even as a direction to pray into. They are also constant resources during teaching to integrate our curriculum. If I know a verse without knowing the chapter and verse, a quick search will find it, to give an accurate Bible quote and address.

I have memorized Scripture, but only as an adult. Regretfully I can see the outcome of choices made without the wisdom of Scripture to develop my life.
