Deleted User04/15/2023 at 14:45I get no insight when I read without asking sincerely for Holy Spirit to speak even though I understand the words themselves. But, if I’m really engaged in wanting to hear God show me something new, I find that what I read causes me to remember a principle, verse or example in another part of the bible so I add a note there to connect the two or more passages together so that next time I read any of those passages, I already have other related passages I can look at also.
