I pray for this daily, In my morning prayers, I pray to be given the strength to do what needs to be done and to walk in the footsteps of our heavenly father.

I have on occasion and it works, just like the story in your lecture. I easily give in to my weaknesses instead of remembering to ask God for His strength.

I definitely do this every day in parenting. It is a sanctifying thing to raise kids! God always provides what I need.

There have been times with God when I tried to pray and my thoughts were muddied with the thoughts of day, past sins, and other things. I have tried to pray for God’s strength to carry me through those moments. There are moments like trying to pray or even to read the word of God on a daily and consistent basis.

There have been many times when I haven’t felt the inclination to spend time with God and have missed a day or so because I am concentrating on my own human effort; however, when I have asked for divine strength then ‘unsearchable truths’ have been revealed.
