    Yes, I have had to do that many times in my Christian walk. Each and every time I have made this exchange, I have been able to get through the issue without further struggle. I have received a peace and strength well beyond my own. God has faithfully partnered with me and shown me the way. As I “draw nigh to Him then He is faithful to draw nigh unto me” (James4:8a). Seriously, I could not make it along this journey without this exchange taking place regularly.

    Yes, I could not break an addiction I had. I had tried for years, decades with no success. I asked God to do what I realized I would never be able to do. God was successful where I failed over and over.

    God comes through! I try this often with challenging relationships and when trying to change my bad habits. We are weak, but He is strong!

    I never thought that this was a sin, my apathy. Up until now, because I always want to come to God because I want to meet with Him and not because I should, I would wait until I was in the mood. this was a good exhortation to me.
