I’m blessed to serve as a local missionary through The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, so listening and dialogue play a major role on these campuses. I tell our volunteers and character coaches all the time to be more focused on being “interest-ed” than “interest-ing”.

Yes, I have shared Christ with others, with most of the conversation being interacting and listening. When sharing, they need to ask questions and have time for processing.

I talk to many people about God. Some are very open to hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ. A few have said the sinner’s prayer with me and given their lives to Christ. Some get very angry and dislike God, or do not believe at all. I just pray for them, that the Holy Sprit reveals God’s love them for them and open their hearts to the gospel message

Yes, I have shared my testimony with people who want to know about Christianity. Listening and dialogue play an important role because it gives you the opportunity to share why you believe and help the persons who is listening to get answers they are seeking and encouragement when we share a testimony.

I have been in the role of planting more often than harvesting. Presenting the gospel with my story, has been my method.
