Yes, I attempt to introduce others to Christ by saying God bless you and also asking them if they need prayer. Many times when they are telling me of concerns, I ask them if I may pray with them. Depending on their circumstances, I will now began to not just plaint seeds but lead them down Roman Road to salvation.

I have rarely walked people through all of the 4 spiritual rules but I do believe in listening and dialogue and interaction. I feel more like a seed planter than a harvester. I could use the Road to Rome more effectively by watching for opportunities of open doors and being more confident that I’m meant to share it all, not just parts or parts of my testimony. Help me, Lord.

Yes, I have. The first example that comes to mind is when I sat next to a Muslim man on a plane, and we discussed Islam and Christianity and what each believes about God. Listening is key. Listening and asking questions actually opened up the opportunity to share what I believe about Christ with this man. In the future, I want to get even more effective at asking pointed questions that engage people’s heart and opens them up to spiritual conversation.

Yes, listening was very important. I have yet to meet a person that wants Jesus shoved down their throat. I think reminding myself to ask good questions and let them come to the decision of wanting more would be better than me trying to lead them there. Also, trusting that scripture is more effective than my words.
