I have told other about Christ in the past, but I really did not use listening skills, I did most of the talking. I will study the Romans Road to Salvation so that my future witness will become more effective than my prior.

For me, the 1on1 conversation is essential because I need to hear from them to know where they are in their understanding and desire to understand, or my words will be useless. I have felt a strong desire lately to want to get better at asking good open ended questions that would lead to meaningful discussions about salvation or anything, really.

I have had opportunities and shared the Gospel with others, often just letting them know that they need to have Jesus as their saviour and repent of their sins. As i now work for FCA, it has become easier to share and I look forward to more opportunities. Listening and knowing the stage that others are in are very important in knowing where to begin the conversation. I love using the Four and asking what else they want to discuss.

Yes. There is so much controversy these days about Allah and Christ. Most confrontations about religion gets heated and out of control. So, it is better to talk to people who can relate to the conversation in a positive manner. People that do not believe in God can relate better than people who may believe in a different God.

Listening and dialogue play a huge role in following the Spirit’s leading to share Christ with someone. Being a teacher at a Christian school, I have had several opportunities to share Christ with students. As I listen to where students are at in their faith journey, and l rely on the Holy Spirit, I am often able to share personal experiences as well as scripture with students to point them to Christ.
