Many times, most often in a speaker setting, but the testimony is changed every single time for the audience, be it teens, Muslims, prison mates, addicts, pilots, church groups, etc. I have a stack of testimonies but I don’t think I have ever reused any of them. I review them then pray about what needs to go into the new one. Even in speaker settings, listening is a key role. You need to be able to read the audience and expound where there is interest and drop things that might not be appropriate based on age, etc. You also need to be listening to Holy Spirit, there have been many occasions where something I hadn’t planned on sharing was what the audience needed to hear and I had to tell the story without notes.

I have also shared several times one-to-one, and listening and answering questions is the bigger part of the interaction. You need to know what they are looking for, otherwise you’re just swapping stories.

I have. Jesus asked a lot of good questions, so that is a great model for us to use.

I’ve shared my testimony many times at local schools and with friends and strangers. It can be difficult at first but meeting people were they are at has made it easier to share my faith. It’s a good reminder to go as far as they are ready for and plant seeds and be ready and obedient to the Holy Spirit’s leading on who He may want you to speak to.

Sharing Christ can happen in so many different ways. I once helped someone pray to brcome a Christian in a Sunday School course while waiting for the teacher. You might be the first person to talk about Christ or not. You might influence with your own actions or story. Unfortunately I have a couple of friends that are devout atheist. Lots of prayer and as Paul said that he prayed for boldness to say the things he needed to say when he needed to say it.

Yes, I shared my experience of something God did in my life. I waited until the door was open and then I proceeded with the conversation.
