I have spoken to a lot of folks about Jesus but I’ve hadn’t considered my message could be structured in the ways that are suggested in this module.

A clear and concise summary of Christs’ work in our own life along with a simple explanation like the “Roman Road” does indeed seem ideal for a Christians’ back pocket!

Every person has been unique. Some wanted to know more about God and had lots of questions. Others wanted to study the Bible. In all of them, there was much listening to. There have been other situations where it was very short. They were not ready, but continue a relationship with them.

Yes, I have talked to people about Christ. Listening and talking helped a lot. It let me understand what the other person was thinking, and it made our conversation better. When we talked, it felt more like a real chat instead of just me telling them things.

In the future, I want to ask more questions that make people think and talk more. I will listen to what they say so they know I care about their thoughts. I also want to share my stories with more people, showing how talking and listening can help us connect and understand each other better.

I have told others about Christ. Listening played a huge role in the conversation because I was able to hear their need and position Christ right where HE needed to be (the center/ the answer). If I were not listening I would have made the individual(s) feel as though they are not heard or seen, (understood). The techniques will allow for further patience and clearer delivery of the Gospel.

LIstening is a vital part to sharing the Gospel. It shows value to the person you are witnessing to. I use the Roman Road and it is a beautiful road map to share Christ with someone.
