I have– a huge part in just seeing where they are and what they have already heard. Sometimes you are the seed or the waterer or the harvester. You never know what can trigger someone to come to salvation.

I have learned here not to try too hard to win them over.
That it may not happen during the first conversation.
One person liked how I was so assured of myself concerning my hope in Christ.
Even though I didn’t have all the answers to his questions he was still amazed about my faith in Christ.

Yes… quite a bit in large group settings. The less comfortable, but more life changing, is one on one with someone I have built a relationship with.

My role with FCA staff on a college campus involves lots of listening and patience in the process of leading students to Christ. I’m learning they have to know I care about them personally before they care about what I have to share spiritually.
