I have only told a small handful of people about the role of Jesus in my life. They have all been people that share my same beliefs. They were so willing to listen and encourage me to continue. I do try to softly encourage others to appreciate how God can save and bring peace into their lives, especially the younger generation. The walk is hard with the younger generation because everything is so instant now, but it is worth it.

Yes, casually. Listening to this lessons topic inspires me to want to sit down and design something more systematic and hopefully effective in my sharing. NTL, I think sharing from my heart, as the Sprit leads, is always the best!

I share about Christ when I meet people in public places who speak to me.

Yes, listening is good to understand the nature & need the other is in. This is good preliminary information for praying over them as the Holy Spirit leads us. Listening to listen is listening with love. It is very important, so we don’t form criticism or judgement about the other.

Yes but not often enough! Listening is crucial to determining where what they believe at that moment and determining their desire to learn and actually be ready to recive the Lord. Also it’s important to try and learn their religious and cultural background, and influences in their life. Also important to learn if they are facing something that may be threatening their physical life here on earth. Are they acting from fear of death or maybe battling addiction or a dark sin that is literally destroying them. The more you know about them the better, but you also don’t want to lose them by being too intrusive or overbearing. The Holy Spirit is teaching and training us along the way as well.. Remaining humble and loving is critical. Let the Spirit guide the conversation! Internally pray the whole time. Let the light of Christ shine through.
