Yes, I’ve spoken with others about Christ. I listen to the person before speaking. I also listen to the Holy Spirit as to what I should say, and how much is said.

I have shared my salvation story, and now I’ll put more thought into it and have a simple ‘sound byte’ to share. I’ve always been more inclined to share the miracles God has done for me.

The Roman Road will be useful if asked the direct question ‘what is the Gospel’ or similar. I have never found myself in that situation.

Like my pastor says, we don’t have to share the Good News, we *get* to share the Good News.

Yes. Sharing the Gospel is a privilege, and I always approach it prayerfully. God can open hearts and ears, and I try to be obedient to His prompting to witness to others.

Everyone needs to hear about Jesus but not everyone needs to hear about Jesus in the same way. Sharing the Gospel with someone that has been to church, been hurt by people in the church, and has walked away from the church will sound different than someone who has never even heard of Jesus before. That’s where I think it is valuable to deeply understand your own story and where God is working in your life, so that you can share the parts of your story that connect most with the other person in that time and place to point them to the love of Christ.

Yes I have and listening and dialogue played a major part. This was because I was able to receive the context of their mind, heart, and spirit and apply witnessing and the gospel into their life in a unique way that fits their world. Paul said “to the Jew I am a Jew, to the Greek I am a Greek.”
