Yes. It was important to realize they are in a different place and need time to process.

I have. Some good experiences and some bad experiences. I think meeting them where they are instead of jumping to where I want them to be is what I need to work on.

Yes. Listening and dialogue is essential ordinarily because evangelism is a relational process and relationships are not one sided. In the future, I pray that God will help me listen more carefully and share in a way that displays genuine love and care for others, without a hint of self-interest.

I have. Listening to where they were at and how they felt. Explaining what God can do for them. And praying the prayer with them. Learning the scriptures better is one way I could use these techniques more effectively.

I had to listen to their story and we talked about how God walked them through that and never left them. then got to share how Jesus prepared a way for us to be with God.
