Yes. Listening is essential for any successful interaction. I liked how it’s mentioned in the lesson that “Phillip most likely looked him in the eyes.” This conversation is the most important you will ever have. People are hungry and hurting. We live in such a “me” world. I need to pay better attention wherever I am. And listen.

Haven’t been super skilled- always felt awkward.
I think taking time. understanding that I am just a conversation in their journey, not pressure. -
Yes, sharing the word of GOD is natural for me fellowshipping with strangers, family and friends. The key is allowing the Holy spirit to intervene for the LORD speaking and listening through myself. The more study the Bible the greater my understanding and techniques .

I have told others about Christ in the past, but not on a regular basis. I have used these scriptures verses and techniques before because that was how I was led to the Lord. Honestly, I do not know how I might use these techniques even more effectively, because I am not someone who speaks to people easily. However, in the past, I have used these scriptures to point someone to Christ if they expressed their need for salvation.

My husband was an unbeliever when we married. I would highlight passages in a new Bible starting with John 3:16 and leave it open on the coffee table next to the TV guide. I’d attend church every Sunday and ask the pastor about which verse to highlight next. I didn’t say a word unless he asked me. One Saturday he asked if he could come with me the next morning. I of course said yes very casually. He had lots of questions and I told about Jesus and His love for him. Long story short, he is now a baptized believer!
