I need to do a better job in listening in the future, give others the chance to share more.

I have and when I didn’t listen my witness failed miserably … listening and engaging really is so incredible important. This session has been very helpful as to how I can improve my engagement in future.

I have shared about Jesus in the past. Through my work in ministry I regularly ask people about Jesus, and I ask if they are comfortable with me sharing what I believe. Typically this allows walls to come down for a conversation about Christ.

My longtime best friend was still living the same sinful life we had all lived many years before. On a recent visit to our house, she made the comment that she noticed how peaceful and happy I was. She wanted that too. She had no idea how many struggles I was facing at that time, but she could see that I was not relying on myself to get through them alone. I told her how my life had changed when I gave my life to God, became a church member, and regularly fellowshipped with like-minded Christians. I also gave her a women’s devotional book that had really touched me and helped me move forward in my relationship with Christ.
