Listening is key to know where a person is at and what there questions are about faith in Christ. It is important to pay attention to Phillip’s conversation with the Eunich. He led with a leading question and sincerely showed care for him. This will be what I take forward…care for people.

I think in the past I wanted to share and was impatient and did not listen as well as I should have. I do like what I learned through how Phillip shared the Gospel in Acts 8.

Yes I have told others about Christ and how Jesus healed me from anxiety. The person had the same illness and was able to receive the message. I should have prayed for the person after telling how the Lord healed me.

Yes, I have shared Christ with others, listening and working on what they tell you let’s you know where they are in their spiritual life.

Yes!! But the listening and dialogue sometimes get heated and argumentative. In the future, I will try to understand people more by listening and understanding where they are at in their spiritual journey and pray more for their salvation than trying to convince them they need to be saved.
