I have had many opportunities to share the Gospel with others. When I am sharing one on one with people; I like to first listen to the Holy Spirit as I listen to them share about themselves. Building a relationship is always valuable in letting them know you care. I will continue to listen to people’s needs and concerns as I pray for their souls to be transformed by the Holy Spirit.

I have shared Christ in the past. Listening is crucial as I believe Jesus really does meet us where we are. Although I do think sometimes a truth can hurt, most of the time people need to feel seen or heard. I don’t think it is possible to have a dialogue without listening. I do believe I need to focus more on salvation of Christ instead of my own past. I tend to get excited about how much I have been saved from I am afraid the point gets missed.

Yes & yes! Asking questions, listening, and engaging in heart conversations are always important elements in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with someone else.

Yes. I even used words when necessary. Listening is vital so that a proper response can be formulated. Listen to the person’s heart as they are searching for the One to fill that void. One way I can get better is by paying closer attention to those around me even when i think there is nothing going on.

I have told others, particularly family members, about Jesus. However, as others have responded, I think it would be better to listen more and seek out where they stand now and their rationale for not following Jesus as Lord and Savior.
